Explore the Magic of Johnston Canyon & Secret Cave Adventure!  Step into a winter fairytale with our secret ice adventure where you wander through icy trails, marvel at frozen waterfalls and embark on a search of a hidden cave tucked away in the canyon. 

Every guest will receive a treasure map to guide them to this special spot accessible only during winter months.  Ice cleats provided.

Icefield Parkway Sightseeing

The Icefields Parkway is one of the most scenic road of the world, a UNESCO World Heritage site!  At its highest point (2,070 meters above sea level) is the trail head to Peyto Lake Viewpoint.

Embark on a scenic ride to Peyto Lake on the Icefields Parkway, combined with a visit to the iconic Lake Louise.

Ice cleats or snowshoes will be provided.  Option to rent skates from Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (subject to availability).

This trip begins by enjoying morning coffee at a photographers’ favourite spot for catching the sunrise on a clear sky. After coffee, hit the road to the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic road of the world, a UNESCO World Heritage site! At its highest point (2,070 meters above sea level) is the trail head to Peyto Lake Viewpoint. On the way back, pass by Morant’s Curve, named after the famous photographer Nicolas Morant, en route to the exclusive cabin resort, Baker Creek by Basecamp, where guests will be welcomed by a cozy campfire with hot drinks, marshmallow and hot dogs roasting.

Description
